SEO Specialist
100% Remote | Full-Time Contractor | Hourly | Reports to: Manager of Technical Operations
About the Role
The SEO Specialist role requires a solid understanding of search engine optimization best practices and the ability to put those tactics into practice every day. You will support SEO Account Managers in developing and implementing strategies that improve clients' website visibility in organic search results.
You'll collaborate closely with Account Managers to ensure all online marketing efforts align with each client's goals, while staying current on algorithm changes and industry trends to keep client websites competitive.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Research and analyze competitor websites and industry trends
- Develop and implement SEO strategies to increase organic website traffic
- Optimize website content for SEO purposes
- Create and optimize meta tags and other HTML elements
- Evaluate website user experience and make improvements
- Monitor website analytics and make adjustments as needed
- Develop link-building strategies
- Identify and resolve website coding issues
- Write and submit press releases to relevant media outlets
- Complete all ClickUp tasks in a timely manner
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience with Google Workspace
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to master new subject matter and make insightful recommendations
- Self-driven with a proactive mindset
