Account Manager

About the Role
The Account Manager serves as the primary liaison between Proven Marketing Now and its clients. You will oversee client accounts, ensure successful campaign execution, address concerns, and foster strong client relationships — while providing guidance and supervision to the specialists working on those accounts.

Duties & Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients, fostering strong relationships built on trust and understanding
- Conduct regular meetings with clients to understand their objectives, address concerns, and provide updates on ongoing campaigns
Account Oversight & Troubleshooting
- Oversee the execution of digital marketing strategies by the specialist team, proofreading work and ensuring alignment with client goals
- Troubleshoot account-related issues, proactively identifying and resolving problems to maintain campaign performance
Day-to-Day Client Concerns
- Address day-to-day client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and effectively
- Provide timely responses and solutions, coordinating with the specialist team when necessary
Monthly Meetings & Reporting
- Lead monthly meetings to review campaign performance, present insights, and discuss improvement strategies
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing campaign results and recommendations
Technical SEO Oversight
- Provide guidance and support to specialists executing technical SEO tasks, ensuring compliance with best practices
- Review technical SEO audits and recommendations and oversee their implementation
Client Retention & Growth
- Identify opportunities for account expansion, suggesting new strategies or services that align with client objectives
- Work closely with the sales team to retain clients and explore upselling opportunities
Crisis Management & Conflict Resolution
- Act as the mediator in conflicts between the agency and clients, working toward amicable resolutions
- Mitigate and resolve urgent situations that may arise within client accounts
Requirements
- Proven experience in account management or client-facing roles within the digital marketing industry
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies, particularly SEO
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
